I-90 Vantage Bridge – Replace Bridge Deck and Special Repairs
Travelers crossing the Columbia River on I-90 will see lane closures over spring and summer as crews work to replace the entire surface of Vantage Bridge.

- UPDATE - Work to complete traffic revisions has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 11, due to weather. Travelers who drive onto the Bainbridge Island ferry will soon have a lane all to themselves on southbound State Route 305 approaching Winslow.
- CARNATION – Construction starts June 3 on a fish barrier removal project that will require a temporary detour near 324th Way Northeast south of downtown Carnation. Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will remove an existing culvert and build a new bridge along SR 203 over an unnamed tributary to the Snoqualmie River. Construction is anticipated to finish in late 2024.
- FIFE – Community members are invited to attend an in-person open house on Tuesday, June 4 in Fife to learn more about ongoing and planned construction to extend State Route 167 from Puyallup to SR 509 near the Port of Tacoma.
